For the Organic Bamboo Doublers it's 3 layers of super soft natural colored Bamboo fabric. Not only do they make great doublers, and are super absorbent, but these make great barriers when laid on top of other diapers when you need baby to have the softest, most breathable fabric next to baby's skin. We use them if our son is starting to get a rash, or if it's hot weather.
For the DryTouch Doublers; 3 layers of Lofty Micro-fiber terry, plus a top layer of super soft DryTouch Micro-fleece to keep baby feeling dry, help poo roll off, and keep rash, and stains at bay. This micro-fleece is a synthetic fabric, but be assured that it still breathes very well, does NOT make baby hot or uncomfortable, even in summer.
